CBS Home GmbH develops and manufactures high-quality precast concrete elements for residential and commercial construction according to its own "CBS system."

In order to streamline the processes between planning, production, and commercial processing, the company sought a solution that would combine the BIM process with ERP functions while providing a clear overview of projects, orders, and costs.

CBS Home wanted to create an integrated solution that seamlessly links technical and business data.

Important goals were:

• Direct transfer of 3D planning data from Revit to the ERP system.
• simplifying the processing of quotes and orders,
• greater transparency regarding project statuses and costs,
• and a reliable basis for material and schedule planning.

CBS Home relies on the combination of IDAT and IDAT.

By integrating both solutions, planning data from the 3D model can be used directly in the ERP system—for example, for quantities, geometries, or element information.

At the same time, commercial processing, from quotation preparation to invoicing, is carried out centrally in the ERP system.

This means that technical and economic information is available in a shared database.
