Program configuration

A major challenge in developing a CAD solution for precast concrete units is the flexibility required to customize the software to the various needs of customers. The software must be adapted to the plant and not the other way around.

This means the program must from the very beginning be designed to ensure that it can still be customized quickly and easily not only after the 10th but also after the 100th customer. We have found an ideal solution to minimize the amount of time and effort needed to customize and configure our programs for new customers, one which allows them to make any necessary changes to reinforcement types or built-in parts checklists themselves.

Other CAD software makers see these types of customer requests for changes as a way to generate extra income and charge their customers for any work they perform, no matter how small the task. On the other hand, we at IDAT want our customer to be self-reliant and able to make important configuration changes themselves. You will soon come to appreciate the freedom this offers.
